【东西视记】澳州藝術展 Numinous: Chris Worfold’s expo at Stanthorpe

A mind-blowing exhibition of Chris’s large-scale artworks and accompanying Stanthorpe Art Collection pieces. This Gallery take-over is not to be missed!

Having Chris exhibit is a major coup for Stanthorpe. Chris is world-renowned and has exhibited in Taipei, Seoul, Paris, and New York. Chris Worfold is both a superb draughtsman and technician but that’s not what the works are all about. His innate and well-trained skills are put to work exploring visual possibilities and paradoxes. There is a fecund imagination at work here drawing from a deep knowledge of the art and history of easel painting.

Chris Worfold is a Brisbane-based Visual Artist and Educator. His recent research and practice have investigated the confluence of analogue painting and digital imaging.

He is a graduate of the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology – BVA, Grad Dip Ed, BA(Hons), Ph.D. He is a highly experienced Educator of 25 years and has written, structured and delivered Certificate, Diploma, and Degree programs. Chris has been Senior Lecturer in Creative Industries and Digital Design at the University of Canberra | TAFE Queensland Brisbane.
